To use a game freeze, just choose 'Save Game Freeze' from the 'File' menu. Because a game freeze is part of the emulator, it should work for any game at any time.
So you could save a game freeze right before a tricky jump, then reload the game freeze until you make the jump. When you later open the game freeze, the emulator will restart to the moment you saved the freeze. To use autosaving, you may have to choose some kind of 'save' option in the game itself, but other than that you don't have to do anything.Ī game freeze is a special feature to sixtyforce - it will "freeze" the game at the exact point in time that you save it. Note: This only works for games that had saving built-in originally. The save game is instead automatically saved to your computer, so the next time you open the game, your progress will still be there. How they work can be a little confusing, so here's an attempt to explain things more clearly:Īutosaving happens when a game tries to write a save game to the cartridge.
Video Settings in Wii64 To-do (In order of importance)Įxtract the contents of wii64-beta1.zip to the root of your SD card/USB For now, we're just releasing a snapshot of the source used to build Beta 1.1, but we're planning on updating the public repository with each commit we've made to our private repository so that everyone can see the progression of the code. We don't want to discourage other people forking and working on the emulator however, any unofficial builds must not be called "Wii64" or "Cube64" nor use the Wii64 or Cube64 logo in order to avoid confusion. You can load ROMs and saves from a FAT formatted SD or USB (details on the folders required are in the readme). See the included readme for details on the controls.
The emulator can be controlled with any combination of GC controllers, Classic Controllers, Wiimotes with Nunchuks and even just Wiimotes.
Not64 is available to download from the thread at GC Forever. Not64 is an "experimental modification" of Wii64, forked from the "Beta 1.1 'Honey'" version to include several fixes and additions.
